NY TFcon 2015 is off to a great start. Last night was a huge even of reveals that have yet to come across our screens. Hasbro did slowly start to introduce the idea of the upcoming “Titan Wars” during the last major reveal event. To continue in that momentum we are going into 2016 with Combiner Wars and will start to make the transition into Titan Wars. Which also happens to be similar in the Head Masters, and every other manner of talk.

What am I excited about? Well I honestly don’t care about swapping heads and blah blah blah… But what I do like about this is yet again it creates a opportunity for 3rd Party add ons. Don’t like that head? Sure heres a new one… Don’t like this part? Sure lets fix that.

Most of all Leader Class Blaster. It would seem like Hasbro and Takara are really filling in the blanks with the toy lines that many 3rd Party have been. This is good news for collectors on a budget. Price point is over half to 1/3rd the price in many cases.

Overall the criticism seems to be mixed again on these. My general thought you don’t like the “Head Masters” / “Titan Masters” idea glue the head in place… These toys still have great overall value that really will hurt the 3rd Party Market, and making that Market place work harder and focus in on Adults, and even possibly switching focus to try and hit the younger audience (lower your prices…)

Well they snuck this one in, but another boss to fight… Menasor! “I am going to rip your spark out and feed it to you!” Bumblebee seems to also have the “sense of humor” here as he turns around and says, “I did not see that one coming…”

They did a great job with teasing this game, along with not providing every last detail of what to expect and who you get get fight. Only if we could get to be a Decepticon!

Shared about a week ago on Transformers Addicts! Facebook page. Because this site is rather a favorite of Bruticus… I deemed this worthy of posting.

Yes most of these are re-used molds, but even still they seem to look excellent. I am expecting many third party add-ons for this guy that should enhance his overall problems. Considering the core of him “Onslaught” is using the same Voyager as Defensor.

While this has hit every other news site I find it worthy enough to repost it under this site also. Still no information regarding who will direct, but to the next 10 years we will have another 3 Transformers Live Action Films. (Rumor within his voice said, “and Michael Bay…” But still no updates from Bay and Paramount yet…)

Whether you love them or hate them, we all have to admit it has kept Hasbro in the business of producing Transformers and keeping the brand alive. This year they have reported a “downside” with the Transformers toy-line which was expected as this is a “non-movie” year… So to the next ten years!

Finally after months and months of waiting. A DECENT upgrade kit beyond what we can already get on Shapeways which is “ok” but requires tons of painting/sanding and filling to make it smooth like a normal toy. Least not forget trying to match up the paint colors…

S.N.D. Primo Vitalis upgrade kit follows the look and feel of the current IDW comic book series. Even with this upgrades attached he is fully transformable, and is still able to combine with other  others!

He includes the following:

• 1x New Head
• 1x Combiner Mode Head
• 2x Shoulder Pads
• 1x Chest
• 1x New Waist
• 2x Extended Thighs
• 1x Pair of articulated hands.

The Chosen Prime says he should be ready by November, but with all these things it really is hard to say if it will be here… So hopefully definitely by Christmas!

So PerfectEffect clearly listens to its fans and proud owners of their toy-lines. PE started off with what is said to be the best Transformer of the Year “Leonidas” and from everything I can tell it is missing one thing… His evil twin! Soon as the initial “teasers” were coming out about Leonidas I had only one thing to say… Can I get that in Black?
